Research

For several decades, the Mensa Foundation has presented awards on an annual basis to individuals around the world. Some awards are specifically for Mensa members who are contributing to the Foundation's mission, but others recognise the advancement of knowledge and education without membership limits.

The Mensa Foundation's Awards for Excellence in Research are given internationally for outstanding research on intelligence, intellectual giftedness and related fields.

Through scholarships, publications, gifted youth programming, events like Colloquium and special programs like Conversations with Mensa, the Mensa Foundation provides educational opportunities available literally around the world.

The Mensa Research Journal highlights scholarly articles and recent research related to intelligence from a diverse selection of nationally and internationally esteemed authors. The MRJ is published a minimum of three times a year, centering around a chosen theme. Content periodically includes entries from the Awards for Excellence in Research, as well as issues devoted to the work of the Mensa Foundation's Lifetime Achievement Award winners. You do not have to be a member of Mensa to subscribe — just someone interested in the latest information on the variables impacting giftedness and intelligence.
