Your thoughts needed on DME experiences

The experiences of people with very high IQ as well as a learning difference or disability are being sought for research into the support available for those with dual or multiple exceptionalities (DME).

Potential Plus UK (formerly the National Association for Gifted Children) is collecting research for a book to support children and young people, and they are particularly keen to hear from adult Mensans who are willing to share their experiences. Younger Mensans, as well as parents, are also invited to have their say.

Dual or multiple exceptionalities are a high IQ coupled with anything else which might have an impact on learning - for example, learning differences like dyslexia or dyspraxia, physical disabilities, sensory impairments or a condition on the autism spectrum.

The questionnaire is totally confidential and can be completed online. Survey responses should be submitted by October 31, 2020.
