Welcome to new chief executive Cath Hill!

British Mensa is delighted to welcome Cath Hill as its new chief executive.

Cath will join the organisation on Monday (February 1) after a rigorous recruitment process which saw many strong applicants for the post. Current chief executive John Stevenage will work alongside Cath to ensure a full handover before starting his well-deserved retirement.

Mensa chairman Chris Leek said: "Cath is very personable, creative, confident, and full of energy. Her background and directly relevant experience, including her success in helping modernise and transform CIPS (the leading body representing the procurement and supply profession globally) made her easily the outstanding candidate.

"I and the rest of the board very much look forward to working with Cath, modernising the Mensa brand, growing our member numbers and diversity, and promoting Mensa in the wider community."
