Tom takes golf title

Tom Murray from Birmingham walked away with the top prize from this year's Mensa golf championship at Staverton Park.

Tom carded 36 stableford points to win the overall title, as well as hitting the longest drive on the par 4 seventh hole.

In all, 33 members and guests tackled the championship course at Staverton Park in Northamptonshire.

Championship runners-up were Mark Ashton from Newport, with 34 points, and John Howes from Yetminster with 33.
