Investigation challenge for 7-10 year old bright sparks!

Event Information

From: 21st May 2016

To: 21st May 2016

Time to investigate!

Raising and nurturing a gifted child can be an exciting yet daunting challenge, and it can be difficult to find challenging activities that will also help children socialise with others of a similar ability.

The next activity day hosted by the Westwood Academy in Coventry, Mensa's hub school, will be a fun and educational workshop for very bright seven to 10-year-olds on May 21

A subsequent workshop for older children will take place on June 25.

The sessions will be held at the academy in Coventry and led by Mensa's gifted child consultant Lyn Kendall, a psychologist, SEN/gifted specialist teacher and star of Channel 4’s Child Genius programme.

Lyn has been working with gifted children for over well over 30 years and has a huge wealth of experience, skill and knowledge.

The workshop theme is Research and Investigation, with children rotating around three different sessions to challenge and inspire them, in the company of other children just like them.

The cost of the workshop is £40 per child.
