IQ Tests

Membership of British Mensa, the High IQ Society, is open to anyone who can demonstrate an IQ in the top two per cent of the population, measured by a recognised or approved IQ testing process.

Supervised IQ Test

Mensa hosts group supervised IQ tests every week - click the booking link below to check times and locations. Candidates for the Mensa supervised test MUST be over the age of 10 and a half. The test costs just £26.95.

Mensa does not currently endorse any online IQ tests because they cannot be verified. The Mensa online workout will give a good indication of how well you might do in an IQ test but will not generate an IQ score.

Mensa Home Test
Curious about your IQ but not quite ready for the supervised test yet? The Mensa Home Test is a 45 minute assessment that you can do in the comfort of your own home. Send it back to us and we will mark it and send you your indicative score - it's not a verified score, as we can't standardise the conditions you take it under, but it will give you a good idea of how you might do on the full test.

Prior Evidence
Anyone who has shown they have an IQ in the top 2% can submit evidence of this to join Mensa. Tests can be taken through any registered psychologist.

Please note: parents who are seeking Mensa membership for children under the age of six are advised to book a private assessment using the Stanford Binet test. Other tests will not be accepted for very young children.

Schools Testing
We also offer schools the chance to test their pupils aged over 10 and a half.
