We are delighted to confirm the date, venue and speaker line-up for Mensa at Cambridge 2021. Each year the conference invites speakers to present on a pre-selected topic. The topic nature is chosen by the delegates at the end of the previous year’s conference. The ‘Skills Crisis’ follows on from the last conference which debated ‘Gifted Adults’ - Brilliant innovation and extraordinary contributions as always under Chatham house rules.

The presentations are superb, the surroundings are out of this world, just your company required!

The 2021 line up of stellar speakers brings together a wealth of experience from the business world who will jointly present on the topic of ‘The Skills Crisis’. John Blauth, a journalist and editor who now runs his own communication consultancy will start proceedings on Thursday evening. Following John over the course of the weekend are nine further speakers representing Government departments, high finance, the Met Police and Mensa International. British Mensa Chairman, Chris Leek rounds up the line-up as our gala dinner guest speaker.

Our base, the stunning surrounds of Queens’ College dates back to the 15th century. The college has a fascinating history (and an interesting tale about that errant apostrophe in the name), and includes actor and writer Stephen Fry, journalist Emily Maitlis and comedian Mark Watson amongst its alumni and is home to the world-famous Mathematical bridge.

The programme is designed to allow plenty of time for delegates to explore magnificent Cambridge.  Enjoy a punt on the river cam, have a wander around some of the 31 architecturally stunning colleges, enjoy the numerous talented street entertainers or have a wander around the unique shops around the market square.

The conference is fully inclusive. One price covers all your stay, includes....
