A young Mensa member is reported to be amongst those taking part in Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack.

Latest media reports say 21-year-old beauty queen Jade Eden will follow in the footsteps of Mensan Michael Cheshire who became the 100th housemate to enter the Channel 4 show in 2006.

The twist this year sees a group of young people being controlled by celebrity Big Brothers - reported to include Matt Lucas, Ian Wright and Malcolm McLaren. They will set tasks, hand out punishments and listen to the housemates in the Diary Room.

The housemates for this series - which replaces Celebrity Big Brother - are a collection of talented young people such as scientists, athletes and a racing driver.

This will be the last Big Brother series presented by Dermot O'Leary and the action is due to begin on Channel 4 at 9pm on Thursday 3 January 2008, before transferring to E4 for the rest of the series.
