Mensans from 40 different countries are currently visiting Bulgaria’s capital Sofia for the International Board of Directors meeting. The event, which began on 13 October 2011, brings together different national Mensas to work together to expand and support the organisation.

There are over 110,000 Mensa members worldwide in over 100 countries. The society started out in England in 1946 and is currently celebrating its 65th Brilliant Anniversary. This year’s hosts Mensa Bulgaria have arranged the event to coincide with their 20th anniversary, having established in 1991.
