Idea Aid is a global brainstorming benefit, where people donate their ideas to help solve the world’s problems.
The first Idea Aid will launch, for a single week, on Saturday 14 November 2009, and will challenge people to develop ways in which to raise money to eradicate global hunger and poverty. Those signed up to Idea Aid will brainstorm online, sharing their best ideas with Heifer International. Heifer International is a global not-for-profit dedicated to ending world hunger and poverty.
Idea Aid is sponsored by Mensa Process, who work with members of Mensa from around the world. Anyone is welcome to join the brainstorm in a hope of finding a solution for a complex problem.
Mensa Process Managing Director, David Wynett, has said of Idea Aid ‘It’s a revolutionary way to identify potential solutions to problems, and it’s especially relevant in today’s economic climate, when people may not be able to donate money, but still want to give back.’
