Young Mensan’s remarkable recovery

29-Jul-09

12 year old Mensa member Jacob Simpson had a serious accident as a toddler, which almost left him with brain damage. Thankfully he made a full recovery and went on to join Mensa last year after sitting the supervised IQ test in Glasgow. Jacob saved up his pocket money for the £15 to sit the IQ test, and was pleased to confirm his IQ was in the top two percent of the population.

Chris Leek, British Mensa’s Chairman, has said ‘At Mensa we are always delighted to welcome young members and aim to provide a positive environment for gifted children, to help them develop. We are pleased Jacob made a remarkable recovery and wish him well for the future.’
