Games Officer Alan Farrell and fellow Mensa Member Anthony Marsh reached the UK Hasbro Monopoly Championship Final, held in London in May. One of the judges, Ian Brown, was previously Mensa Monopoly Champion, so he had plenty of experience of the game. Unfortunately neither won the trip to Las Vegas to compete in the world final but Alan made it into the Runners-Up position on the final roll of the dice.
